SO. After my last post I was still in discussions with the amazing Lisa from The Wild Rose Press about potential covers for my book. Within hours of posting on my blog, we had a version ready to go to the board for approval – and the very next day, I got this!
We have a cover! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to have the editing phase over and done with so that we can get a release date on the calendar!
In other news, I had one healthy week after contracting COVID – and then I got laryngitis. I have lost my voice at the moment, so I can speak through the written word at least! But here I am with nothing much to say at the moment because my biggest piece of news is a few paragraphs up.
Unrelated, we are heading off to R.M Williams’ homestead on Saturday for an endurance ride. There is nothing quite like Rockybar, it’s such a special place to be. I love every minute that I get to spend out there, even more so when I get to do that from the saddle – though this time I will not be in the saddle, I will be taking three of the horses up for my sister and our two friends to ride. Hopefully we’ll come away with three successful finishes on Sunday!
For now, I’m going to take a nap and hope that I have my voice back by the weekend – happy weekend everyone!
