Holy moly its been a crazy few weeks! There has been so much going on, I hardly know where to start.
Okay, lets go one at a time, 1-5.
1a. A bit over a month ago my editor sent me my pre-galley. That started a typical brain-death I could not for the life of me get into my editing.
2. My mum’s house went on the market, and then sold within 48 hours. Then we had weeks of making sure all of the paperwork and stuff was done properly. And finally, just this week gone, it passed to it’s new owners.

3. We have the beginnings of my new workshop – the footings were dug about a week and a half ago, then it rained the day the cement was meant to be poured! Thankfully it was rebooked quickly – and now we have a slab. Next weekend we’ll have a shed!

4. A few weeks ago my wonderful neighbour helped me get one of our new horse’s home. Eliza is still working on picking up the other one, she’s a little more wild…!

1b. Then brain-death was over, and I got the rest of my editing done. DONE! A whole WEEK before I told my editor that I would. I’m pretty proud of that!

5. And in between all of this I have managed to plan – from start to finish – a whole three week long trip to the UK for myself and my family. In five and a half weeks I’m heading to the UK with my husband, sister and young cousin.
We’re starting out in London for a few days in a hotel just off Hyde Park. We’re seeing Buckingham, the Tower and Kensington, then going horse riding in Windsor Great Park before touring the castle!
I’ll stop here – there is so much to go through. It’ll be a whole post of it’s own! It’s time for me to prep for the 80km endurance ride that I am entirely unfit for that I’m planning to ride my very fit horse in tomorrow afternoon.
Pray for me.
